I am so excited for the future when I can educate my own children. Oh mothers, what an awesome and wonderful challenge you have in raising your children unto the Lord! I've been tucking away all of the precious materials I find that I cannot use in my public school classroom for the day when my own little ones eventually arrive. One of the best resources I've found for early childhood education is Danielle's Place, a Christian website that ties together bible verses, weekly themes, and alphabet letters. This site has been invaluable to me as a Sunday school teacher. I've even used some of the craft ideas in my own classroom, but I can hardly wait for the day I can begin to teach my own children.

Your children will be blessed with a Mom whose heart is to train them up, love them and guide them in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. What a gift. Lord bless you and your womb! : ) tammyp
I am also excited for the day we start homeschooling Sofia. Malachi and I find it to be one of the biggest responsibility as parents to rear our children in the ways of the Lord. Thanks for the website recommendation!
God Bless

Something tells me you are going to be a great teacher for your children. It's something about the way you write about teaching, I think. It always makes me smile.
hey sadie, i was looking at some free patterns today and saw one you may like

I homeschooled my boys K-12 and now I am homeschooling my 6 year old grandson. I started with him when he was 4, but we use the very gentle-in-the-beginning curriculum, My Father's World. Check it out at www.MFWbooks.com
Also, you might like the book, Slow and Steady, Get Me Ready by June Oberlander, which gives weekly things to do with baby's through K. The neat thing is that the last chapters of the book basically do the same thing that MFW does with the letter a week. I am giving it as a gift to new mothers.
Another resource you might like is www.letteroftheweek.com
I love homeschooling.
