I have often thought the idea of an "Anne of Green Gables" tea party would be lovely. The Homespun Heart has some lovely inspiring ideas for just such a picnic. This may be the very year to make the dream come true! I've found a wonderful resource page for "all things Anne" that actually has many of the authentic recipes mentioned in the books. I would love to have my dear friends over for some much needed kindred spirit time. Oh, that would be just lovely!

Anne-spiration Tea Party

I don't know if you're aware, but there's an Anne of Green Gables Cookbook. I had a copy for years, but I just mailed it to my nieces in London a couple of months ago. I figured they'd get better use out of it than I was.
BTW, I found your blog through Meredith's. I really enjoy it. :-)
